If you have lost your luggage
First of all, you should contact the representative of the airline whose flight you have flown to, or the representative of the airport if there is no representative office of this airline in the city of your destination.
After you present your baggage receipt, the airline representative will record that your baggage did not arrive at the destination airport. If you are left without any items, you should be given a bag with basic necessities.
If the luggage is not found within a few days, you are entitled to apply to the airline for a receipt for the purchase of clothing.
Many airlines give this check, but not very willingly, so be persistent.
If baggage is not found, the airline is obliged to pay compensation of $ 20 for each kg of weight.
Attempts to convince the airline that valuables were in the luggage were usually doomed to failure. Therefore, if you carry valuables, it is better to insure them additionally before the trip.
